Great video with valuable tips.
This will be my next plane. The quality is there and it looks fantastic.
I’m always puzzled about the critics complaining of price for a “foamie”.
I came from building Goldberg and Sig balsa kits and the larger scales models would wind up costing close to 2k for all the goodies included here.
The foam models have come a long way quality wise from years ago and I find they can take more of a beating than a ultracote covered balsa kit.
For the two motors, speed controls, BEC, servos and incredibly scale and robust landing gear the price is a steal. The fact that all the work is done for you and you just plug and play makes this a fantastic deal.
I’m happy to see something in a convenient foam kit of this quality and scale looks come to market.
I do love to build large balsa kits and stick a gas motor on it but now that I live in a apartment complex I have no room for all that so I’m grateful for these quality foam kits coming out.

Thanks for the "Assembly Guide" info on the FMS Tiger Cat. When you do a series of videos where there is a sequence to the videos, I wish there was a way to get to the next one. I get random flight videos but not the next assembly video you said would come. SO where is the next video for receiver hook-up?
In particular, my question is, using the FMS Reflex V2, and the Spektrum AR8020T, where does the BEC plug connect to the receiver? In the "bind/prog/SRXL2" port?

I just bought one, the horizontal tail now has only one rear spar but they haven't changed the instructions. I'm painting the engine cowls the wing and tail tips white to help with advisably 😉

ust got my Silver version. Not a big deal but you need to test fit the narcelle's to work out left and right as they are not marked and not referenced in the manual

Very nice detailed video on this marvelous plane. You did a great job in explaining everything and im now seriously thinking about buying this aircraft, the silver version. Ive saw it fly on video and it looks rock solid in flight. I also like its slow flying capability. Thanks for sharing this.

With no reference in the manual for a flap stetting, what setting did you use for mid and landing flaps?

Rich - the manual that came with my Tigercat does not show any information regarding the flap setup. Can you please share where you set 1/2 and full flaps and also what your flap/elevator mix is? Thanks so much!!
