Thanks to Ubisoft I got to have a chat with some Rainbow Six Siege devs, and they gave me some insight into the past of Skopos, Deimos and Daniel Bogart, confirming that they were once a squad together led by Daniel

That's why I believe Deimos is baiting a trap. He dares Rainbow to shoot him, knowing that they wouldn't. Since his intel was probably limited on other Rainbow sites, Deimos lets himself be captured, pretends to be good, and Rainbow takes him to another Black Site. The whole time his drone is stalking them, feeding intel to the Legion.

The other Rainbow operators may converge to where Deimos is, wanting revenge for the death of Harry and attempts on other Operator's lives. Now Deimos can strike a crippling blow against Rainbow. Many key Operators together at one site. Plus the site itself with all of its weapons, gadgets, intel, and other goodies that can be either destroyed or captured. Makes for a juicy target.

I think giving Deimos lines when tracking skopos similar to the lines when he tracks Fenrir would be really awesome

As much as the little animations are cool, I think there’s a segment SIEGE is missing which is playable STORY. I think the story is cool, but it’s not the MEAT of why we play siege, you can beef up the content, interaction and immersion by making a story mode.

A story mode, that allows the player to come in with a squad that is set, and must play specific operators, according to the story they’re trying to tell, the players may organize who plays who, bring whatever utility they need.

Set the scene, make the building or whatever they need to breach, escort, secure, with AI enemies, holding the building, VIP, or area.

Then cut in the animations at specific areas, times, completed objectives etc. & make it replay able so you can revisit it over the years. Then USE the map from the story in ranked, if they need to make the map smaller for ranked, that’s cool and if they need to make it bigger for the story that’s good too.

Since Ubisoft currently doesn’t have the rights to use Ding Chavez, I wonder if they’re somewhat changing how the first three games went down with Bogart being the stand-in for Ding. Not sure how that’ll work since Ding was Six during Vegas 1 and 2. Or Bogart was in charge of Team 1 with Ding still in charge of Team 2.

My first experience with Rainbow 6 was the game on the Gameboy Color.

First mission? Easy!

Second mission? I was 100% lost, and had no idea which way was up or down, or which leg of the platform I was on.

And as a stupid 10 year old, I didn't have the braincells to know which member worked best together.

I have a prediction, what if Bogart is still live or they did some robocop type stuff to him to keep him operational. What do they say about characters in movies/shows? “If they(movies/shows) didn’t show them(character) dying then are they really dead.”

Great lore vids..At this point give us a damned Single player R6 game with these operators ... as a Og Black hawk down R6 player ( have played siege) i stopped after they nerfed Ela 2 heck..+ and stayed away wanted to come back but found out the removed T-Hunt .. that has been a staple from the jump... personally..wtf is the point of all this damned lore if we cant play a offline story mode thst isnt "Situations " if im honest i see 0 reason to play siege now there is nothing for us fans of the older Single player Games of R6...
