Wish they didn't remove the magnified scope on melusi's mp5, they had already nerfed her when they made her a 3 armor. I do like having 4 banshees tho, gives me more freedom in where to put them but if you think about it that's technically a brava buff as well. More gadgets to hack. I'm not using the secondar shotgun tho, she's one of the few ops with a red dot pistol. I also like the echo buff, makes him better for his playstyle.

buck made the most sense to have the gonne-6 since his ability was another gun. in no world do you need 3 guns in siege. didn't need to nerf wamai; his acog made sense if he was played as an anchor. if they made jager's gun shoot faster, give it 30 rounds, and/or make him a 3 speed then jager's position as a roamer would be fulfilled and wamai would go back to being an anchor with his acog. the only reason jager doesnt see use is because his gun isn't fun. could also give jager a shield instead of observation blockers to protect ADS and help defenders while roaming.

I'm actually really happy with all the changes but yes, I think giving Sledge the gonne-6 would give him what he needs to distinguish him finally enough from Ram and Buck (which are just much better softbreachers at this point)... he would have the weakest primary gadget but in exchange be the best softbreacher regarding dealing with enemy utility...
And yes we need more new secondary weapons (especially a secondary shotgun)

Crazy how much difference a zoomed-in scope makes. People absolutely cooked matches with Wamai and Melusi with the facts that MP5 is a fantastic gun, their gadgets are extremely effective anywhere, and the ACOG was an entire frosting on a cake.

I pretty much agree with everything you said except I slightly disagree with removing the ACOG on all defenders UNLESS you allow them to keep their ACOGs on the DMR's and slug shotguns.

A lot of melusi set ups involve hiding bashes close to foot holes so her getting a secondary shotgun so she can still bring a smg is a major improvement for solo que

I'd remember a time when only attack did have magnification scopes... You would definitely notice how the defense team had to be very smart with their positioning, because they wouldn't be able to engage at further ranges

i find Melusi similar to Heavy mettle lesion now they both have a good gun with no magnification, impact nades, secondary shotgun and a gadget that gives you a sound cue when an enemy walks into they're radius as well as slowing them down

If echo has his sights again give us maestros acog, best days of maestros and make bulletproof glass make sense no one can punch harder than bullets if need be make miras take more than one melee to go opaque so she is more versatile

I definitely think these aren't bad changes. It at least isn't super nerf heavy and instead rebalancing, but I do wish they'd do more still. And I am personally happy with Wamai losing his acog. It is so common when I play to see a Wamai spawn peak for a couple of kills. But overall, I would like them to focus on buffing certain operators more. I'd like Jager to get a 30+1 mag back, Sledge to be a 2 speed (and Thatcher) and get the SMG-11, etc.

i agree with the acog being an attack only thing, but what about the dmrs or the bosg? would they have to acog as well?

I said when the sight changes happened that the only defense weapons that should have the ACOG are the DMRs and Slug shotguns. Passing around the ACOG is the exact same thing they did with the 1.5 and it is doing exactly the same thing.

I disagree with removing acog on defense entirely there are certain ops that need the acog like doc and rook and it would just make defense less fun in my opinion

Ela buff idea: make it so that the indicators for lethal traps and such are removed when you are concussed, like if a thorn trap activated, you won't see the little arrow popup saying you would get damaged from it or killed. It would kind of be more realistic(even though it has laser gates and such), as instead of being able to just sense a nearby gadget, it gives the impression that you are actually hearing it instead.

What I don't understand is if a character in the game is being played way too much theynerf it and when characters actually need genuine Nerfs they completely shoot over what actually needs to be Nerfed like they just Nerf the gun most of the time and when you look at it every main balancing update for operators has usually been just nerfs barely any buffs
