I've always loved how the PJ guitarists alternate playing lead depending on the song. I like to believe it gives you an idea which came up with the riffs/hooks of their individual songs (at least until the solos where Mike always shreds).

Great work, gotta love it just because of the beautiful Les Paul with lots of patina on. The more I think about it, 'Alive' has one of the best solo parts of all modern rock songs, taking 2 minutes of a 6-minute song and flowing so nicely along. I've had the chance to be part of it live twice when Eddie and the crowd starting cheering on four in the final part (or is it one?), so much energy!

That's why I absolutely love this song live.
