For years Russia has been trying to place Russian friendly politicians by what ever means necessary to all the branches of government. Not just federal but state and election officials too. They are clearly getting good at it.

Congress should enact a law that demands Presidents are accompanied by other officials during meetings. The Presidential Records Act is obviously not enough.
