Got this bad boy for my XC70, and I love it, and I strongly recommend it for anyone with my car ('04 XC70). 2 complaints: first, it didn't come with bolts, so if you're missing those you gotta buy some new ones (they're inexpensive) - just be aware that they're not quite as good as the originals. And the other complaint was that I did have to torque the plate upward on the passenger side rear, and I had to remove most of the rubber grommets so that the plate fit closer to that rear passenger side hole. It's possible that the whole unit was torqued a bit during shipping (even though it's remarkably thick and inflexible).

Overall, I love this thing, and I am very happy to have it on my car.

You should open up the side for transmission service, and the pan would never have to come off. Just a thought.

I need one of these, I just discovered a big chunk missing from the stock plastic skid plate on my car.

I guess I'm fortunate as my 07 S60 with 236k miles shows little to no signs of warping or breaking on my skid plate. Nice upgrade with access ports.
