Repairing a Nespresso machine with a simple technique that is not a ziploc bag !

I had put my Nespresso away for more than a year and know I decided to use it again and for my surprise it was not pumping water. I checked the internet for a solution and yours was the best.

Hey Sammi, I just went through the process as you described and it worked perfectly. Thanks a bunch. I had not used my Nespresso for quite some time - had run out of capsules and then didn't get around to buying new ones. I was just drinking coffee instead. Now I got a big box of capsules for Christmas. But then the machine didn't produce the espresso, it was just whirring. I was disappointed and thought I had to get a new machine possibly. I pumped about three syringes of water into it until water was pushed out the front end. Then I put the little plastic plate back, snapped the water tank on, and now I'm sitting here typing this review while sipping a hot espresso. Much appreciated!

SIR!!! You are the goat! I have a verturo machine and while i love it, the pods are expensive and and the Starbucks ones are gross. I forgot I had the original machine, but had not used in 2 years. I bought some really good coffee pods for the original machine and when I woke up at 5:30 this morning, expecting to have a great latte my machine was not pumping out water. I found another video telling me to use a straw lol when I tell you that at 5:30 this morning half asleep I’m sucking out of a straw with no luck Lmao . I had another espresso machine in my Amazon cart ready to spend over $100 until I found your video. I ordered the most generic infant Tylenol from target pick up. Went to go get it and fixed my machine in 10 minutes. Thank you so much!!

THIS is the best way to fix the problem. I tried the bag method, the tube method, and the straw method without success. This works like a charm! Thanks so much for posting this.

I didn't have a syringe but I used my The nozzle on a Waterpik fits perfectly in the hole.

Thank you! I tried many other techniques shown in other videos, but this one worked like a charm. My one mistake was not immediately replacing the strainer, as shown in your video, so the tan wouldn't release water, but once I figured out that mistake, I followed your instructions exactly and it worked first time. This worked on my first try. Machine fixes within 5 minutes! Thank you so much for sharing. I tried ziplock and blowing first to no avail. This method was much easier and less effort needed. 👍🏻
