God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” - John 4:24

It wasn’t until I found myself hitting rock bottom in my relationship, finances, and life that I turned to god.
I’m 27 years old and it wasn’t until about a year ago that I started going to church.
It has helped me become a better person, and I’m grateful for that, wether god exists or not.

God is definitely the Meta but He’s also more than that. I’ve seen Him do things in my life that I can’t explain. He lives in us, guides us, and uses us to make things better if we have Him in our hearts.

This whole spiritual plane/dimension thing is hard to explain because I know it’s there. I’ve seen it in action in my life. But you won’t be able to measure it in the way people think things should be measured.

Romans 1:20- His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the worlds creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable. ✨💜

In short: we were built by Him for Him, and without Him we are nothing, possessing zero transcendent purpose beyond our limited life.

I admire his humility it’s dope to see a extremely intelligent guy be so logical and also humble enough to know and admit that his knowledge in certain areas is limited and also open to ideas that challenges what he believes like the idea of there being a God and that the Bible is real and more than just true . That’s dope I salute him I think a lot more people in his world should listen .

We have all sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God. Whether we have lied, stolen, lusted, cheated, hated someone, lost our temper, used bad language or God’s name in vain, gotten drunk, done drugs, etc. We all deserve to be punished in Hell because of our sins. As a result of our sins, we have stored up a spiritual debt for ourselves. Unless someone else pays off this debt for us, we will pay it off ourselves in Hell. But thank God, that He sent His Son Jesus Christ, to live a perfectly sinless life, fulfilling the law and obeying God’s commandments perfectly, in our place, and He was tortured, and crucified on a cross to take the punishment for our sins. We broke God’s moral law, Jesus Christ paid the fine, the spiritual debt that we owed for breaking God’s law. Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried in a tomb and He rose again from the dead on the third day.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but has everlasting life. When you repent and believe The Gospel, this Good News about Jesus Christ, you become saved and sealed with The Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. Nobody can snatch us out of The Father’s hand. We are saved by the grace of God, through our faith in Jesus Christ, not by any of our good works, including obeying God’s commandments or loving God completely. We fail at that every day. We are justified by our faith in Jesus Christ.

At my age the simple elegance of the classical arguments for God are sufficient. That He is The Transcendent First Cause and The Prime Mover became enough for me once I had forgotten most of what I had learned or read, and I have since acquired a certain ease and cheer which I should never again like to be without.

God to me is everything. From the atoms that make up all things, to trees and wind and water to animals and gigantic mountains to hearts and lungs and brains. God is everything.

I grew up an atheist. As I moved into adulthood I slowly started to be exposed to the Lord, through critical and careful thought and through Jewish text and conversation because it made much more sense to me than Christianity (but that is entirely personal). I still struggle to formalise it in my head, the idea of G-d, but Dr Peterson, who I saw in Manchester yesterday by the way, has helped me to understand and truly articulate the concept in my own head, in my own heart. It, he, G-d, is so much MORE than I thought. When I was younger, I oversimplified it and thus dismissed it. We are all here to answer the question he asks us. We are all here to answer the calling. Each person has a different route to Him, please do not forget that people! Your route to Him is completely different to your peers. We are a bridge between the mortal and the immortal. Hashem needs us, as we need Him, in a sense. He needs us to fulfil our duties, to explore life and death and love and tragedy. Hashem cannot do this on his own, powerful though He is. We are a mirror of G-d, we are the eyes of the universe looking upon its own naked body, coming to understand itself. I am 21 now, and have much more to learn about the Lord, but this is what I understand so far.

God is our Father in Heaven and we're made in His image. Psychologically speaking Jordan Peterson is correct I think, but as a matter of reality once our mortal probation is through and Christ comes again we will all see him face to face.

We didn't kill Him, He was a willing sacrifice sent by the Father, and without that sacrifice there could be no forgiveness of sins. Jesus wasn't a victim of the cross, but a willing sacrifice.

The last 2-3 years has caused me to fear that "the truth, no matter what" is no longer the great posit of the scientific community.

Pescador de Hombes! I dare not define God. All I know is that I AM, and I am grateful to BE. God is Love. I love you so much. I KNOW that WE ARE NOT ALONE. And I KNOW that I am loved, and that I love. I am very grateful, to exist, and to know that I exist. I love God. Thanks so much for helping us, Pescador de Hombres. I wonder, if you realize who you are, who you are, REALLY. I know you do. I know you! Although, I have never met you. PEACE BE WITH YOU. Te amo!

Why do so many believers in God think it is their right to disgrace and shame others with different beliefs? Even when it comes to other people who believe in God differently. Right from the very beginning of our lives, we are taught to believe whatever our parents or guardians believe. We feel so fortunate to have found the one true religion and not to be lost like the other people who follow a different religion. If everyone believes they are correct in what they believe and yet contradict what someone else believes it only stands to reason that someone is mistaken in what they believe. There seems to be all this confusion among all the people who believe in God. Why do they spend so much time trying to prove they are right and someone else is wrong? It is hypocritical to use religion to validate superiority and overfocus on what everyone else is doing wrong. I can't see how that behavior will lead to a better more fulfilled life. Beliefs are personal and serve us well when they enhance our lives and make us better people. I was raised in a Christian home so I am very familiar with judgements and shaming from a very early age. It is funny how everyone feels like they are doing the right thing even when they are not. We are all so imperfect. Maybe we could embrace that a little more and focus on helping, not hurting. There is no shortage of ways for us to hurt others.
