I have been frustrated with my putting lately (too many 3-putts, missing too many 3-4 footers). But I went out to the course early yesterday (before my round) and practiced with a metal yardstick and a mirror, and worked it out. My stroke was ok (stayed on the yardstick), but I think I was standing too close to the ball; eyes over/past the ball. I putted much better during my round and shot my lowest score of the year.
