Holy smokes. You just cut everyone's workflow down by, like, 80%. Thank you for sharing.

Absolutely amazeballs!

And here I am creating a wall with 16 different clips, laid out by hand...  This technique is _so_ much quicker.

This is a fantastic tutorial for Motion newbies. Would you please consider posting a tutorial to show how to use the sequence replicator and 3D camera functions to achieve the look shown at 04:41 in this video? Thanks.

Wow, that is insane! In a good way :-) Mark, you're a gem! Like somebody said below, Motion is so powerful, it's crazy what can be done with it. And realtime to boot. You and Simon Ubsdell are really showing the way. Well Done.

This is so smart. I know how to do all these things individually but never thought to combine them to make a video wall.

If I have 30 fps would it be 150 for the source frame offset? Nothing is happening when I do that. Each clip is 5 seconds on the test project I am doing.

Thanks great tutorial. I did have one issue. If you DONT tick the 3D option in the replicator you will not get smooth playback and the RAM preview just falls over and crashes Motion after about 100 frames. Tried re-installing, deleting prefs etc. Motion 5.4.5.
Once the 3D option IS ticked whether you're using 3D or not the whole system flys with no issues.
Weird, I thought the 3D option would make is worse but it does the opposite.

Awesome tutorials :D true mastery
I have a suggestion, can you please make a tutorial for HUDs similar to the ones in the iron man movies?

Does this play all of the audio as well?  Or is it limited to the video portion? You made it look so easy!
