I didn't get why people are mad that they ditched the stand-alone app. Who tf use it anyways? good job iZotope! focus on what matters most. Oh boy, I've been waiting the soft-clipping since v6. The song reminds me of The Vines, indie / garage rock vibes.

I just upgraded and I’m super excited about this feature. I plan on using it just for the soft clipping function. Hopefully one day it becomes its own module to use by itself! But I’m happy just to have it now!

Great video and cleared up somethings for me that I never understood thanks! However I gotta question the choice to use heavily distorted music to show clipping. Something pure like acoustic instruments would have been a clearer demo of the effect?

There's no visual representation in Ozone 9. So what is 'soft knee' - 0.0 or 10.0?

Limiters for distortion and or brickwalling beyond the threshold; and soft clippers for saturation? By turning the soft clipper on inside maximizer I’m automatically turning the limiter off?

i just know that ozone plugs change nature and color of wavs etc.

Thanks, but since Ozone 10 isnt stand alone anymore, I wont be upgrading.
