I must say, Synthetic Division (Learned from Organic Chemistry Tutor) is a lot easier than this way of inspection. I can also understand it that way and doesn't involve so many steps.

When i use long division it gives me a remainder of - 2 why?

But kevin -2 also gives us 0, what if i used -2 in the equation to find the first x
