It's good you mentioned about regular jack stands sinking into the below surface. True also for the wheels of service jacks. When I was young, I learned to use something under a stand and hydraulic jack. I use a section of old leaf spring for added support. Much of my work is on turf so it is extra important.

Great demonstration…straight to the point. I have my RAM 2500 up in the air a fair amount and these make a lot of sense for me.

Dear Caterpillar: is it so hard to make a longer bottle jack handle? Floor jack manufacturers learned this a long time ago.

I love mine it works great for my Dodge 3500 and lifted 4runner. I just use a low profile jack for my regular cars, not sure why people are missing the point of this product I feel like its pretty obvious. Great video!

That is the best jack I have seen, it’s fantastic the way it has the axle stand built in. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

Wasn’t that impressed until he pulled the pin out and saw how tall it gets. That’s pretty sweet. 😮😮

This is interesting. Thanks for the video. I'd still be concerned with having a single 'device' even though you have both a stand & jack, but for a quick wheel change this looks good.

First one for me on a caterpillar jack. I'm sold on this particular one. Why? Obviously caterpillar are known for their hydraulic big equipment so I have no doubt this little compact jack is built well. And caterpillar is a company that has been around for decades

Nice tool good to have a couple different jacks for different applications

Should you use the rubber top part even if you're not going to use a pinch weld spot to lift from?

Cat-branded 4-ton built by All Tools Inc (they sell a 3-ton all-in-one Jackstand/Bottle Jack for $110).

At 3:50 I think you mean asphalt or blacktop?...Jack stands sinking into surface?...

Hello I have a similar jack a unijack I'm using racing ramps how you use the wood. Is it safe to jack up all 4 wheels this way? What is the safest way to do it? Front then back? Or left then right?

So the vehicle's tires have to be on top of blocks so the jack can fit under the vehicle, nice.

I always feel that when jacking a car on one side/ corner that it is stressing or distorting the car chassis, or potentially damaging other parts?

So I noticed you have blocks under the tires to allow the hack and adapter to fit. So im guessing it is to tall to fit under a normal car . If your using this video on a full size pick up, still won't fit. So awsome set up but the jack is to tall for "normal" size vehicles.

Just checking in, are you still happy with the jack’s performance?

2 of these should give enough clearance for diff and trans fluid change right?

I guess it would work for SUV's & higher vehicles but low cars, probably not!
