Vindication. It was a long wait, but my EV6 has been lovely.

Ev6, and Tesla for me. The Tesla network is simply awesome. Range and space . Ev6 looks awesome.

I received my GV60 on the 16th Dec after driving half of all those i will say the GV6O is the best car out of that list ?

Is it practical demonstrating these EVs when there is such a gap price-wise - $50, 000? If you were thinking of something around $75k you won't be considering a $120k car.

why not add charging to be a factor as well?

The problem is you can even order an EV6 or Ioniq 5 at the moment is Australia. The judges really should consider availability and wait times when reviewing which cars are best in Australia. I doubt you can get your hands on either of the Kia or Hyundai within the next 12-15 months

They should allow space for the spare tyre possibly in the front trunk

What's the wait time on buying an EV6 though?

Tesla could also be in sub $70k now as well. And ev6 sales are falling for some reason…

I would wait a few years before buying a Hyundai or a Kia to let the dealer network come up to speed on maintaining them.

I’ve had my two month old ioniq in at a dealer for a warranty issue for almost a month now with still no sign of getting it back anytime soon.

I expressed concern to Hyundai head office before dropping it off about the dealers ability to fix it and they told me that they were a blue star highly trained EV dealer.

Shame because the car seemed pretty good but if it’s a month plus whenever something goes wrong why would you buy it?

Again - why are we testing the model Y single motor version? or why as the dual motor been left out and doesn't get a mention? - the twin motor version fits well under the $120k mark (in fact cheaper than the GV60 included in the test) - does 0-100 in 3.7 sec, better brakes and stiffer suspension and longer range, you can also add in the model 3 long range and model 3 performance into this category as well as the BMW ix3, ix1 and i4. These lists have been nonsense for quite a while now.

Why do all ev car review never have a real world range test which would normally have Nelly all seats occupied and a boot full of stuff

As if Tesla needed more money but they could make it by selling a heads up display / physical buttons and knobs to map to functions which 3rd parties are now already doing.

Oh Drive… what a shameful award. You awarded the One car that can not be purchased.

The Kia should finish last automatically as it is not actually for sale. Walk into any Kia dealer and they just say over 18month wait.

How much did you get paid to be Kia’s mouth piece???
