Comprendo completamente de lo que estáis hablas do cuando dices que aprendamos más cuando leemos y escuchamos a cosas que nos gustan. He aprendido MUCHO más escuchar y hablar con mis amigos de Honduras y mirando a películas que cuando estudio la gramática.

This was a super interesting interview! I follow Laura's YouTube channel, and she always has some great tips for learning languages. I'm an American and native English language speaker who speaks Spanish at probably a C1 level or so, Russian at maybe a B1 level, but I'm living in Japan and just haven't had the motivation to learn a lot Japanese! Maybe this will inspire me haha!

The other day, I told my Russian language teacher that I ate "pan" for breakfast 😅 then I realized it wasn't Russian!

Cuando te mueves entre varios idiomas es normal que se te pierdan palabras. Justo allí está el reto para los que ya hemos dado el paso a ser polyglotas o plurilingues. La satisfacción que genera conseguir que la comunicación funcione es a veces tremenda. Hoy por ejemplo he dado mi primera clase a un nivel de principiante de español a una alumna belga, dando las explicaciones teóricas en holandés siendo alemán y lo he conseguido bastante bien!

Me gusta aprender el 2° idioma como es el ingles? El catalan he olvidado muchas palabras, llegue a Lloret de mar hace 23 años, Gracias por la informacion y darme mucho animo si cometo errores, ese era mi problema desde hoy, escuchado a uds 2 que son los experts en enseñar y sugieren no tener miedo cometerlos, me ha entusiasmado mucho mas, escuchar que a uds les ha pasado, es importante, ahora en la calle, el bus, tren, aquí en Miami de vacaciones, saludo en ingles, lo que me gusta es que las lecciones Sean pausadas, no enseñar hablando muy rapido se aprende mejor, gracias, son excelentes profesores, da mucho animo, entusiasmo escuchar a los expertos que otros no lo hacen, saludos, felicitaciones
