Herd About The Prairie was a local Fargo art installation from 2006, and I just really wanted to show you guys. There were a ton of custom painted bison statues. It's pretty neat. I'll let the video speak for itself. Enjoy!

An adult feeling intimidated by high schoolers for no reason at all is the most relatable thing ever

The real sponsor of this video was Zyn nicotine pouches. Scott was continually telling us to “Buy Zyn” throughout the whole video

It's honestly pretty refreshing to hear a youtuber be so concerned with being a public nuisance

I got mental whiplash being reminded that 2016 was EIGHT YEARS AGO. Time flies.

18:02 I admire the restraint Scott used in not referencing Drew Gooden…good engagement tactic!

I live about 1, 500 miles from Fargo, but a neighbor of mine told me he has to go there for work sometimes. I hit him with "oh man, their Chuck E Cheese just closed. It made the news." I'll get him with "Byzin" next time we speak.

In my home town we had painted bear statues. It was a charity thing where people around town could buy a bear, paint it however according to a theme, then they would put it in front of their shop for people to look at, attract customers and eventually buy. They did it every summer for as long as I can remember. They don't do it anymore but the bears are still around places. It's cool other places do something similar. My friends and I always liked looking at the different ones.

As someone who’s never been to North Dakota, I love when we get lore from Scott

I want Scott to start (or at least inspire) a movement of people really loving their hometown/city. Especially places that aren’t really celebrated much and kids growing up there just want to get out to somewhere more ‘relevant’. I know industry, economics, etc. are understan bow reasons for that. But everywhere has something to live. if I wasn’t to anxious to make videos I’d do stuff like this. my home state (which is size wise, maybe a fifth or sixth of the size of ND but has a much larger population)and home city is one of those often written off areas. But there is so much cool/interesting stuff if you just open your eyes and keep an open mind. Thanks Scott,

as a local north dakota resident i am so glad that you have done this. i have seen multiple of these in person, and i have had the small idea of "what if i did it myself", so this video will be a nice companion if i ever decide to do that!

I live no where near North Dakota but I still find everything Scott talks about relating to the state very interesting

As a lifelong North Dakotan, this place has affordable rent and good paying jobs, and the only state-owned banks. Great schools and economy here.

Oh my god, I’m from Florida and there is TONS of Swan statues in Lakeland, Florida. I didn’t think I’d ever relate to a northerner 😂😂

I find such freaking comfort in your videos. I can’t stress that enough. North Dakota needs to thank you and put you on payroll

If you ever visit Southern Utah you could try and find all the bison in St. George! The University mascot is also a bison so they have a ton scattered all over town.

There is kind of a similar thing in this small town in Kansas. The town of Marysville, population slightly over 3, 000 is known as the home of the black squirrel. There are almost 30 unique squirrel statutes around the town to find.

i dont think the painted bisons are weird.
Where I was born there are painted Bears all over the city. Painted in themes that fit the business they are in front of.
Valet for example, in front of a hotel

Toward the end you said you had fun and I was thinking, it didn't seem like it. I kept thinking that someone would join you at some point and you'd get up to shenanigans. I'm glad you mentioned that at the end... I hope that whatever video idea inspires you next, it doesn't feel like work. I love your videos!

Cleveland, Ohio did a very similar thing. We have the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame. When I was a kid, they had a bunch of artists paint giant electric guitars. It was cool to go around and find them all and see what they look like.

I love Scott’s ND videos. Most of my mom’s family is from a small town northeast of Fargo, and me and my siblings are the first generation to be born outside of ND. The North Dakota accent is very strong in my family so watching Scott’s videos (especially ones with his family and friends in them) reminds me of my own family.
