I've been F2P since day 1, and I've been playing for years. This update has given me a HUGE disadvantage. Ore farming is too slow and I really hope Supercell makes this right!

The big nerf on Eternal Tome is the hardest pill to swallow. Even if a player spends $$$ on stronger equipment, what guarantees do we have that SC won't nerf that equipment and force us spend more $$$.

I am a f2p and I am happy with the balance changes but my complaint is with regards to the wastage of effort that went into farming these ores. Several raid medals burnt into stary ores and we will have no compensation for that. For example the bounce of spiky ball, we literally paid for each bounce increase and now that the bounces will decrease the amount paid for each extra bounce gets wasted.

the difference between Troops and Equip BUFF/NERF is that you can just use another troop when your favorite get nerfed, while if the equip your focusing got nerf, you cannot use another stright away and its affected all your strategy in attacking

Honestly, I both am on board, and don’t like it. I like the changes because it gives defenses more of a fighting chance, but hate it because of the amount of effort we put into those equipments just to have them nerfed into the dirt.

It's only normal to nerf old items so players can buy newer "OP equipments" 😂😂

For the veteran F2P Players it is probably going to be fine. Only affects the newer players.

And some supercell meat riders are saying that ”oh but the equipment deserved to get nerfed” and yeah the epic equipments were very strong, however they cost alot and supercell knew what they were doing by making them op to get people to spend money, and then later nerf it. They do this in clash royale as well, its really scummy.

The crucial thing that most peaple seem to be missing/ignoring is that these nerfs don't make affected equipment useless. All of these items will still be viable just not as op as before. If you've been playing coc for a long time you probbably remember that during the early days the game was revolving around troop placement, nowadays you can clear half of the base with heroes only which in my opinion is toxic to the gameplay. And if you don't think that gauntlet or healing tome were disgustingly overtuned then i guess nothing will convince you. Also the game is free too play but companies don't work for free so no matter how much you moan the fact that they make people pay more for the game is the reason you can play it for free.

I am always surprised by how people dont realize the influence they can have on an industry, a game company, etc. If half the playerbase decided to do review bombing and not spend money at all until they revert things back, the company either 1) get humiliated and go bankrupt 2) get humiliated and revert the changed
3) get s little humiliated and revert things immediatly. People have a massive power on the gaming industry or on any other industry.

I collected gems buy the frozen arrow. Upgrade it lvl 11. And literally after two days I heard about this update. If I know this prior, I would never buy that. Instead I spend my ores to archer puppet. (I use qc army) And my gems to buy book of Hero. It cost me 3 lvl of any hero.

Playing for 9 years and haven't spent a penny. But i think the game is a lot easier than it was in 2018/19 . And people are still reacting to nerfs and time. But every opd player knows that this game is much easier than it was years ago. Imagine in th9 we had queen lvl 30 and that took us 4-5 months i mean you could do it faster but you had to attack 20 times a day. Moreover back then we couldn't just upgrade troops so easily because back then army costed elixir.

Equipement is fun at the surface but with these pay to win cash grab games we know they will be monetized to the bone, one day i think it's not far fetched to get gacha equipment or gacha heroes in the game lol

That's why, i don't like this equipment update, i prefer how it used to be when equipment was upgraded alongside the heroes
