Random tip to anyone doing concrete finishing, get comfortable with a round finishing trowel, that has one round end and one squared end. The learning curve is steeper, but you can use it in place of both pool and finishing trowels and it saves my crew a decent amount of time. Also cheaper to buy one trowel vs two, and means the right trowel is always on hand
