Great video. I used to use this argument as a prot. It's also funny to me that the prot form of this argument only holds if their interpretation of Paul's message in Galatians is true and if their understanding of the Catholic message is true such that Paul's condemnation would be applicable to it.

This is why people don't take trad caths seriously, they reject liberalism on one hand, and yet on the other uphold its subversion of the Church because they hold the institution above the faith. This is the same problem boomers have with politics, they can't accept that once ground is captured by the enemy you must either retake it or deal with its loss.

I bet all I'll get in response is intellectualised cope. I have a lot more respect for those Catholics who admit the faults within the Church and pray that it shall be remedied, and outright respect for those actively working to deal with the reality.

Conservatism has proven that your reward for defending your enemies will merely mean that when they attack you it shall be a betrayal additionally. What can I say, don't lay with snakes if you aren't looking to get bit. Also shouldering difficulties related to this is not necessarily moral, if by submitting to hardship you are abandoning others then you should not content to submit, but should struggle for their sake.

So the father sends nothing and the son simply exists.
