The man is authentic, true to his art, and devoted to a time and place he is not ashamed or embarassed to revisit and celebrate, and thankfully he is still out there...somewhere. Saw him on Jools 2013 doing a monologue/sketch while singing "Wiggle". It was cheesy and weird - a WTF! moment- and I loved every second.

As a life long Dexys fan since '79 I have to admit I hated this song when I first heard it on Jools Holland & then again on the cd.
But after seeing it live last month and now here in video it clicks & makes sense, and is now one of my favourites from the album.
If you see the live show you can clearly see the whole album is a 'play' and that each song is an 'act' which all lead into one another. Genius as usual Sir Rowland, why has this man not been knighted yet??
