Can’t you just use cheats in single player to level your character and give them endgame gear and join a multiplayer server with it? If so, that’s a colossal problem for online gameplay.

So wait, you could create a mule character for singleplayer, spawn in everything you need until your inventory is full and just join a multiplayer server with all the goodies you've cheated? Or is the character flagged as a cheater after activating cheats? In any case, it sounds way to easy to exploit the game that way.
