Tango often says in his streams he forgets how his own redstone works in Decked Out 2 because there is so much of it now. I think it would be hilarious if people started sending him these videos so he could be retaught on how his own systems work. Keep it up this was really well done.

14:21 Tango has since updated the shuffler, precisely because of this problem.
The new version uses 40 hopper-minecarts. (Each minecart grabs one card randomly).

The design is by cybot2419, it was also used by xisumavoid for the automatic TCG-arena:

I understood that "gnireenignE" was "engineering" backwards, but didnt thought about _"reverse engeneering", _ good one lol.

FYI the card destruction feature got scraped! It was nice of you to cover its redstone, just letting everyone who didn't know know.

btw this is a very nice series! can't wait for ep2!

Don't watch Tango, but every time I heard a mention of Decked Out I instantly became very curious, even though I never tried to analyze the thing myself. Thank you for making this video to explain stuff in a quick and informative way!

This will be an awesome series, the name says it all

Another change tango made (as far as I know) he took away the 5% of card destruction.

I do hope a future season also brings Decked Out 3. Not to say 2 isn't amazing enough on its own, it absolutely is, but I'd just love to see if, and how, Tango would incorporate the new auto crafter into it. I believe Hermitcraft already has datapacks for custom recipes, so I can easily imagine him turning a dungeon into a collect-a-thon where you pick up all the pieces of your artifact and when they're all in place, the auto-crafter spits it out or something. Or probably something far more interesting than my basic idea here, I'm sure he would add in some amazing ideas with that new item.

I like how you explain even the "simple" parts of the redstone (like the observer clock).

Quality video, his project is interesting from a creative and technical level but there is of course not enough time or energy for him to fully break down his systems. This would make a great series if you’ve the context to do so available from his streams and vids

I love the idea of more episodes of gnireenignE (title is great, too) and am looking forward to more! This was really interesting. The stacking of items after shuffling was on my mind too. I guess one potential fix would be making all of the temporary cards be nonstackable items.

With Cubfan's Newest "One Card Challenge Run" Video, you are proven 100% correct with your assessment that the contraption breaks if only one card is in the deck. While in-dungeon gameplay appears to be unaffected, the system never returns the deck.

Thank you so much for this video, I'm a massive fan of Tango but unfortunately despite being a mad genius he's really not great at explaining what he's doing or sometimes just straight up doesn't explain

I'm loving the reverse engineering pun but I'm not sure if it works as branding because I absolutely cannot pronounce it at all. And if you want a challange for this series, try explaining one of DocM77's contraptions

Love this new series! I've been watching Tango's videos and have always wondered how the redstone actually works behind the scenes

I think Tango got ride of the 5% card "destroyer" and reworked the Shuffler becasue of the 1 item glitch

This is a guess/idea of mine. If you make the cards with custom named books they won't stack in the shuffler, and also you can write the cards description so players know what they do
