How Pizzeria Simulator Works: Full Game Breakdown

How Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator works is difficult to figure out, even once you've beaten the game. It's also my favourite game from the Clickteam series, so I just had to make this video!

I hope this video will serve as a helpful resource for anyone looking to learn how FFPS works and a huge thanks to Folmic and others for giving me feedback; I appreciate it a ton ♥

*FAQ:*
*Q:* _What's the optimal strategy for the office section?_
*A:* Honestly, I don't know. All I can do is give you my strategy, which definitely isn't the best.

What I do is start with the Motion Detector, place an audio lure at the far middle where the most of them are, and start doing the Advertising tasks. Once I hear any vent noises, I quickly turn on Silent Ventilation, turn to the source of the noise, and turn everything off. I then turn to the opposite vent every 4 seconds until there aren't any noises in a bit.

Once I'm satisfied that there are no animatronics near me, I turn the computer back on and repeat.

Also, honestly, don't be scared of having your temperature go up into the 100 or 110+ range, having the fan on when in danger is really bad (quintuples the chances you'll get caught by an animatronic behind you).

*Q:* _How does the Fruit Punch/Lemonade Clown work?_
*A:* I didn't break down how the minigames work in this video (for obvious reasons), but I can quickly explain this one.

At the start of the game, each child chooses a direction to start moving. That child will continue facing that direction until they get near the edge of the screen, at which point they turn in the opposite direction. Every second, every child chooses one of three speeds to move: stationary, 10 pixels/second, or 20 pixels/second. Once you press the spacebar to surprise the kids, it will count how many kids were touching the range circle, and give you the jackpot if you got all 9.

*Q:* _Is there any cheap way to get El Chip?_
*A:* Unfortunately, no. Your only hope would be getting a good mark-down, though that's just luck. I would recommend doing the first three achievements. They reward a substantial amount of money, far exceeding the cost.

*Q:* _How do you get the Insanity Ending on console/mobile?_
*A:* I can't say I've personally tested these methods, but others have said they work.

On console, you need to:
- turn off the PC
- press the right joystick in and turn computer on

On mobile, you need to:
- turn off the PC
- hold down on the blue bottom left power button
- let go of the power button and very quickly turn the PC on (you might not need to let go)

*Q:* _Is FFPS, FNaF6?_
*A:* Yeah, it sure seems so.

I feel like lefty not being able to teleport to vents unintentionally balances him because he has no voice lines to tell if hes close to you

Imma be honest, I can remember all of the mechanics for fnaf 1-5, UCN, and help wanted, but I just never figured out how pizzeria simulator works

I love the story of this game, it was a great finale ! The humor is also really good in my opinion. Salvage sections are pretty stressful, the endings are all fun and the tycoon part is just great (fun, complete, the minigames give even more lore, ...). So yeah, I like playing this game every now and then, even with all its flaws !

I feel like astralSpiff was the first to truely find out how to get blacklisted when no one else did

Honestly, the fact that Scraptrap still has a heartbeat makes the whole thing with Afton being in there even more disturbing.

*He's still alive through sheer malice.*

Oh, the sounds of heartbeat and whirring for Scraptrap and Lefty respectively are really neat details given their lore. (I mean, that heart definitely shouldn't still be beating, but Springtrap's vocal chords shouldn't be making the pained moans he does in fnaf 3 either, so idk, maybe he just does that)

As a person who plays fnaf 6 consistently, this is helpful.

I don't play these games, but I love seeing breakdowns of game mechanics, especially those that aren't as clear or obvious at a glance. Amazing work :]

all I remember is that when i was audio testing molten freddy once and I looked up and was terrified to realize he had gone straight from docile, to attack stance in one cycle.
never could figure out springtraps tell though.

Some random insights I've gained from this that I find interesting/amusing:

-Possibly due to a programming error or two, the vents to the right side of your office are _very slightly_ more dangerous than those to the left side.
-There may have been plans for a fifth animatronic in this game, but if there were, then it was cut VERY early on in development.
-The optimal times to taze an animatronic is when it enters its third "stage" visually (if you're playing it safe), or when you start hearing its ambient audio (if you want to be risky).
-The fact that the salvage sequences are codenamed "interrogation" in the game files may indicate that at some point, it was considered to have more dialogue in these parts.
-The game is considerate and will not allow you to buy items that you literally cannot use with the current state of your Pizzeria.
-There's a surprising amount of RNG in this game, even _outside_ the usual FNAF gameplay. But that makes sense as running a business involves a lot of risk management!

I'd like to think that the reason the flashlight is more effective when ur quiet is that you're jumpscaring the animatronics by burning their retinas when they thought u weren't there

Glad there is someone who takes the time to make an ai breakdown video on fnaf games which no one does. Seriously, you’re like the only one who has done that. You’re really underrated :) Also, just a suggestion, could you please make a fnaf 2 ai breakdown, there were some that did upload an ai breakdown of it but I didn’t understand much and there wasn’t much in-depth analysis.

THANK YOU for closed captions. Holy moly people don't understand how amazing they are when provided (and good for the algorithm when it's a "video essay")

that makes SO MUCH more sense for Candy Cadet's stories being a 1/100 and not based on matching the colors on his head and body.
