Welcome to the Christian Poetry of Danny’s Poems! These spoken words of poetry are packed with Gospel truths and are most useful for Christians in evangelism to reach out to the unsaved. They are designed to be shared with others in order that those that are without Christ might be awakened to their need of a Savior. This poem, The Prince, springs from a true story of how a prisoner was set free at the arsenal of Toulon in France by openly confessing his guilt.

Danny’s Poems was born in the spring of 2020. With his home in the Caribbean, and his mother, Shirley, living in Texas, whose birthday was coming up in April, due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, he was unable to be with her for this special occasion; thus he sat down and scribbled out a very simple “I Love You” poem to send her (his first ever to write). Just a few weeks later, he enjoyed jotting down another little piece, and soon another.

The Lord then laid on his heart to use this avenue of expression as a witness for Christ, thus it was that Danny’s Poems was then truly launched. This particular poem, The Prince, was his second in this series. These poems are handy and convenient to use as a means of evangelism, as he has found that some who will not take the time to read one of his tracts—they will read his poems! So share them all around, and you’ll be surprised at how your own witness for Jesus will grow.
