I know that Fusion merge nodes have transform controls, but it's really not a good idea to use them. If you have a complicated shot that you come back to a year from now, you're not going to remember which, if any, merge nodes have transform options applied. The best practice is to use a Transform node when you want to transform something. This allows you to see at a glance which assets have been modified, and will also make for an easier transition to the industry standard, Nuke, if you're ever tasked to use it. Great example though, using the UFO to abduct a cow, I liked it.

The confusion for me comes in knowing when to go into Fusion vs using keyframes in the edit tab. It's odd that they sort of have both layered and node systems.
