The U.S. and Ukraine are building a case against Russia, accusing the nation of war crimes. Anastacia Galouchka with the International Centre for Policy Studies spoke with CBS News' Lana Zak about what it would take to bring Russia to justice.

I can't tell you how many civilians were killed in the Iraq War when I was in the army. I remember and 1991 we hit a Target this is a hard target but no it was a shelter and we put direct strike Munitions on it until the couple hundred of them we're just as bad as they are.

What war crimes? Does this mean killing and injuring innocent civilians? Although that is an extremely sad thing, it is inevitable using today's modern weapons during a war in actual populated cities. During a war it isn't exactly clear that the enemy knows where civilians are or are not. And I would assume most civilians would be hiding in lower areas, not in tall building. Also mistakes are bound to happen, we are human, and I highly doubt a country (knowing they are being watched by the rest of the world 24/7) would want to purposely target innocent civilians (especially children at school or hospitals) to make their war look even worse. It's common sense.

Plus there are many other wars or even battles that other countries (even the USA) have done that have taken 10s of thousands of innocent lives that was simply ignored. Although the battle in the Middle East went on for 20 years, the drone missile alone killed atleast 22, 000 civilians possibly up to over 40, 000+. And that was just by the drone missiles alone. The very last one targeting a car that was thought to have explosives heading toward the airport actually turned out to be false and ended up crashing into a building with children as well who died. I wonder how many false ones there were, or how many innocent men, women, children and babies died for each individual high target. Because 22, 000 to 40, 000 is a lot! But you don't hear anything about that do you, it's just a part of war.

Again I don't agree with Russia, I think it's dumb. But if people think that is so bad, then there are some other things that need to be looked at as well.
