This video explores the underlying concern that Trump will cut aid, the likelihood that it will happen, and how both parties are (and are not) changing their strategies given those expectations.

The question shouldn't be "how much are you willing to spend to keep Ukraine safe", it should be "how much are you willing to spend to destroy Russia's military".

Never mind Zelensky, I had never heard of Gerasimov, Shoigu, Prigozhin or Surovikin and was only vaguely aware that there was some mercenary group called Wagner or something. It's mental that these are all household names now.

People don't realize the main reason the US is a superpower today is probably because it stopped being isolationist. People forget it wasn't wasn't considered a superpower until after WWII.

...Maybe they get confused because the previous superpower also spoke English🤷

This is all going to look so dumb in a history book...

Future generations will judge us harshly.

"We cannot buy our security, our freedom from the threat of the bomb by committing an immorality so great as saying to a billion human beings now enslaved behind the Iron Curtain, "Give up your dreams of freedom because to save our own skins, we're willing to make a deal with your slave masters." Alexander Hamilton said, "A nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master, and deserves one." -Ronald Reagan, 1964

I fell into your channel while searching for something else and I am sure glad I did. Finally a place where I can find real information on the situation as well as an even-handed narrative about the both the short and long-term issues. Thank you for providing this space which is not politically motivated for either side. You have a new subscriber.

Did Americans generally miss Russia casually declaring that the sale of Alaska to the USA was illegal? Suggesting that Alaska should be Russian territory.
Dismantling Russian military assets by spending American money instead of American blood is a bargain that you'd be crazy to disregard.

Saying this as a European that is frustrated that only now Europe has signaled that an increase in military production is vital instead of two years ago. (or 10 years ago)

With 2 years of anticipation, why is Poland the ONLY NATO country that seems to take Russian expansion seriously? Latest numbers in dollars: France $64B - 2% of GDP, Germany $84 - 1.5%, Italy $84B - 1.5%, Poland $35B - 4.1%, Spain $24B - 1.4%, Sweden $10B - 1.3% (REALLY?), UK $83B - 2.3%. ALL should be over 3% by now. (-derived from Aviation Weekly, (the Germany/Italy numbers should not be the same))

We shouldn’t spend a dollar helping Ukraine. There war isn’t americas war. They aren’t even nato so why are we at all funding them and suppling them with anything? America needs to help itself and only help itself.
