My gas cooker came and a friend did say it’s very easy....just like a light bulb 💡Push, twist and out !
And there’s Curry’s saying it’ll cost £85 just to have it connected 😒 thanks a lot....no one should get ripped off, no one....period!

tip for moving any appliance if you don't have a hand/truck lever and nobody to help. Depending on weight slip dismantled cardboard boxes (or even a thick newspaper at a push)under one edge or 2 feet, tilt to that side and drag. No marks on the floor and much less effort. Just a few card crumbs.

The wall connection is like that to make it simple for anyone to move and disconnect the cooker for cleaning, tiling or decorating etc. These gas pipes remain in the house, new cookers don't come with the pipe connected so, despite none of these comments mentioning or the person making the video, IT IS THE OTHER END OF THE PIPE, the threaded end that connects to the cooker that needs to be sealed properly, this is what you get charged for, not the push twist n turn bit!
