good race...seems about right. stage 2 m4 is like 500whp and has much more torque then the 458

I drove a 458 on a small race track once and I was impressed with the cornering, but not too impressed with the acceleration, but I owned a tuned 94 Supra at the time. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they detuned the Ferrari to save some money.

The f458 even though it's a beautiful car and is fast the whole identity for it is not being as fast as possible, it's driving experience, if they wanted to go faster they could have turboed it and dropped weight, but it's an entry level ferrari with a beautiful sounding flatplane NA v8 that revs to 9k, it weighs probably within 200lbs of an m4 though with has FI and with a tune and bolt ons gains a lot of power fast, those bmws have crazy power potential even with just minor mods, so seeing this video doesn't shock me. The m4 is a street legal race car, the ferrari is a work of art, and I hate modern ferrari, but I can appreciate the f458.

they make 500whp on pump and 550 with e85 or meth, full bolt ons no cats, down pipes and charge pipes with cold air filter and e85 600whp maxes stock turbo. At 500 whp that’s about right they are heavy at almost 3600 pounds the 458 makes 450-470 whp stock but only weights 3275 and has much better aero so I’m not surprised. It has much less tq but the short gears, high rpm power make up for it

If the m4 had e85 custom tune, it would have been game over for the 458. Even The 488 barely wins over a FBO e85 m3/m4

M4 Is heavier. Downpipe. Tune. Which makes it stage 2. Extra 90hp. Not bad for 1000 bucks right?

they weight the same and have the same horsepower ofcourse its gonna be close. now its just up to shifting and the bmw yet being a good driver has a clear disadvantage
