So, basically...Disney is admitting that they have made some of the most racist movies of all time by pulling them from video? Dumbo? Aristocats? Peter Pan? Song of the South? When I watched these movies as a child, racism NEVER crossed my mind. Cancel culture is a damn shame....

It’s not only old movies. Some people get offended by movies that were made in 2005. If something doesn’t fit into the narrow definition of what is currently deemed woke, it’s cancelled.

“Lady and the Tramp” has a range of stereotypes, including Scotch, Southern, Italian and Irish. The Italian chefs give the two dogs their special dinners and the film’s theme song. But the point of the film I think is that all of these groups are part of the thriving American culture that Tramp loves and introduces to overly isolated Lady.
