Not Another Airplane That Looks Like A Cirrus SR22

The Veloce 400 is a 200 mph private airplane with 4 seats and an option to have a parachute. This is an experimental aircraft that you have to buy as a kit and then build through a build assist (recommended) or by yourself in your hangar or garage. The Veloce 400 is originally designed in Brazil and it has a great role model; the Cirrus SR22. The Cirrus SR22 cost anywhere from $800,000 to over $1 million. The Veloce 400 starts at rough $240,000.

- Speed: 130kt - 212kt
- Fuel: 10 - 15 gph

I would have known it, but I have been studying/following Veloce. After flying my own SR22 for over 350 hours, I would LOVE to fly this plane once. There are some distinct differences and I am curious if the pros outweigh the cons. I love my SR22, but it does have some cons (every plane does!). Want some flight reports. Well, I want to write a flight report :)

The Veloce guys actually claim that their design predates the SR-22 an that Cirrus based their design on the Veloce. They look like nice kit planes. They have an Aeromomentum engine based on a Suzuki block. I'm wondering how they wear after several years.

What’s the update on your plane? Sorry this happened to your plane but curios if being experimental it can get repaired faster or slower than a certified aircraft.
