How can you be looking back to the big bang by seeing back 13.8 billion years when they say the universe has expanded to be 93 billion light years in diameter? Is earth in the center of the universe or at the edge

Light does not get stretched literally; it is of course a metaphore. But a better metaphore is to say that its energy gets diluted. An even closer analogy is to imagine a daddy long-legs with a billion trillion legs; and that he breaks and loses his legs as he collides with gravitons. Of course the real thing is more beautiful and enchanting.

In the first paperback book I published Sept. 2021 on page 48 I wrote quote, "JWST, James Webb Space Telescope will discover old, fully grown galaxies as far as the telescope can see, further than 13.8 billion light-years away." I then went onto explain why. The JWST wasn't launched till almost 3 months later.
