It's good to hear perspectives from both sides of the issue.

Wondering if you're still taking questions? I've got a machine to come in and my location only has one phase. The machine is a 3 phase and it uses 4kw and on 15amps total. I was looking at getting a rotary converter installed. Would that be the only thing I'd need? I wouldn't need a vfd and a rotary converter together? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Thanks for the video. What brand of VDF do you have on your lathe.
I was looking on Amazon and some reviews were good and not so good. My setup is going to be a 1 hour 3 phase.
