After you download the project files, you will take the character - a mech - and an environment consisting of several mountain terrains, and learn how to set motion blur in LOPs, assign materials, add lights, add lens shader, how to do material variants, setting up rendering with TOPs, material BSDFs and much more in between. One more thing - we are rendering with Karma CPU. Let's get started!

Fantastic series, as a solo artist this is gold :) I know the point of the video was not to show the rig and such, but may I just ask about the transform node, did you just eye it and move the mech along or is there any locomotion calculations being done in an expression or the likes? The foot is so stable so I just had to ask! Thanks again!

solaris and usd workflow is very awkward and unwieldy. with time and progression in computer tech i would expect from sidefx to make our job easier but nooo.. everything must be more and more complicated with houdini. thank you sesi 👍
