Best product presentation ever. You guys really tested it out to the max, no stones left unturned.

If you made a 2m chain with the same Ferosafe material then the motorbike industry would rejoice. I’d purchase one instantly.

You need to send this unit to Lockpickinglawyer and others in the community to test your locks so there will be a high degree of confidence in the product.

I wouldn’t worry about sending one to the Lock Picking Lawyer. Once it’s available on the open market I’m sure a viewer will happily send him one. It’s pretty obvious that all the reviewers only attacked one place, the shackle. There are lots of other ways to attack locks. 😂👍

Not really concerned with LPL stealing my motorcycle (and I am sure he would pop the lock in less than 30 seconds) more about the scrotes with an angle grinder.

I wouldn't worry about The Lockpicking Lawyer. He's in the .1% of master lockpickers. Very, very few, if any, bike thieves on the street, even in a city like New York, have his level of skill.

So very sorry I missed out on the Kickstarter campaign! I almost missed out on Altor's SAF lock too, but managed to secure one last minute!
I'm looking forward to seeing your product hit the market soon.
I was excited to read of the creation of the material "Proteus" in July 2020. I'm really hoping all the lock manufacturers get on this ASAP! It's past time the lock takes an evolutionary jump forward to thwart angle grinders. I was there when ulocks came along and made flimsy chains and cables obsolete. Then the car jack method. Worked with Bad Bones to help test their product. Then the urban myth of liquid nitrogen. Then the real Bic Pick fiasco!
I've been beefing up and reinforcing my locks for decades to make sure my bike was the LAST one a thief wanted to try to steal. You guys are taking it a step further! Kudos!

Diamond cutting discs?
Can we see a test using a diamond cutting disc for full transparency?

Something like the Lenox 180 x 22.2 x 1.6mm MetalMax Diamond Blade maybe?

Hello, thanks for inventing something so good, 2 months ago in London Bridge, my motorcycle was stolen, a huge disappointment, the insurance paid me for the motorcycle 2 months later ... but I still think about it and it frustrates me, now I have a new motorcycle and order your product, I hope you think about the motorcycles and make a shorter one to block the motorcycle discs since motorcycles don't need something as long as for bicycles and more practical to wear on the motorcycle, thank you very much

I know that there are supply chain issues around the planet, however it would nice if Hiplok could offer a target for sale date for the public...  ...It doesn't make financial sense to purchase a $100+ lock, then months later make another $300 purchase. So, with all due respect I ask, What is up Hiploc people??? It's been a long wait. Show your perspective customers some love. We want to know the 411.

Very interesting but 1) is the lower part (not the shackle) grind proof? Non point of having the shackle only I guess.
Sent a demo to Lockpickinglawyer on YouTube to see also the security of the lock.

Would love to see the LPL review as I would want to use for a non-bike application

Does the lock body have the ferosafe material in it also, or is it just in the shackle? If not, it seems like a thief would angle-grind through the centre rather than attack the shackle, and in this case it would be no better (and no worse) than any other D-lock.

Terrific idea, I'm a huge fan of security devices and that material is clearly the future. The names of the brand and the lock are not adequate, they sound like toys

Nice, but what do you lock it to? That spot will alwbe the weak point.

Will you produce a chain in the same material to fit this?

I signed up at the website and I've seen some reviews on this which so far are all good. I'm seriously leaning to getting a couple of these locks for my eBikes. I'd really like to see what the lockpickinglawyer, BosnianBill and Wayne Winton think of this product. I usually do a lot of research before I buy anything and it's no different with locks for my eBikes.
