She killed the boss I’d been saving up for / working to beat for days in under 15 seconds.

The most special one here is the new player, mesmerized by the beauty of the open world and couldn't wait what would happen next in the lore is the happiness of every old genshin player, nostalgia hits hard, that's why Mondstadt feels like home... although I admit that most of us didn't knew the mechanics of resin back when we first started we had plenty of fun traveling here and there.

Nobody told me this when I started playing but it has been helpful. DO NOT USE ALL YOUR FRAGILE RESIN ALL AT ONCE. Use it only for character ascension stuff like bosses. Saves you days of resin honestly. Use your daily resin for artifacts, weapon and talent level up mats. I'm AR 56 and I have 40+ fragile resin.

I wanted her,
Started actively saving primos for her,
When the materials were revealed I started farming for those,
I was guaranteed so I knew I would get her
Played everyday to get things for her

Got her, ascended her, played a little, didn't touch the game for months after that.

I'm a hardcore casual. I do my dailies, spend my resin, and played every single day. My characters are well-built. I just never 36-starred abyss, always stuck on 33 because I'm too lazy to use any tactics.
