I faced that fear in high school when doing an oral report in English. Not only did I get an A, the teacher told me I had great poise. I was nervous as hell, so that was surprising. I did a presentation last year for the first time, and I felt that initial anxiety of "holy crap, I'm actually going to do this." Once I was there in the moment, I was fine. So speaking in front of others is something I overcame pretty quickly. My only issue is poor working memory. I have to have a ton of notes, and even script things out for myself. Speaking "off the top of my head, " as it were, ends up being a jumbled mess. This has prevented me from doing things like podcasting or livestreaming. If anyone knows of any supplements or techniques for better recall, let me know! I have things I need to do!
