When I’m speaking to others whether it is through MS teams for online courses or just speaking in person, I usually say “I agree with you on that, ” or “yeah, so true, ” when they are discussing about a topic. I get scared sometimes if I will be attacked for saying my opinion. I still struggle but I will try my best to voice my opinion. If I disagree with something, how should I say it? I can’t say “I disagree with you because..” This sounds rude and too defensive. I want to word my sentences in a positive way. Just a few days ago I told my friend cats are better than dogs and she got mad at me. I didn’t mean to say this. I don’t know what sounds rude sometimes when I’m speaking. It just comes out of my mouth too fast.
Can Anyone help me on this? My speaking skills suck more than my writing skills. It’s just hard especially, when you’re learning how to speak the English language.

Hi, can I say: As for me, or for my part. I've read these aren't correct forms but I've already came across those expressions. Thank you.
