Avez-vous un vidéo à propos de quand faire des bises? Merci pour des vidéos!

thanks Geraldine. One of the 1st, most common awkward interactions is the response to the shop keeper. Un façon poli de refuser l'aide d'un vendeur dans un magasin? Perhaps you answer this in other videos? "No thank you, I am just looking" etc.

Bon, je suis Indonésien et on dit "Hey! Apa kabar?" en Indonésie, ça veut simplement dire "Bonjour! Ça va?" :)

Thank you for your channel. I keep coming back to hear the " native" speaker version of French. I struggle with Au revoir. Is the '-r-' pronounced? I hear people sounding like au-voir also.

Bonjour Géraldine, merci pour tes vidéos largement utiles !
Est-il possible de combiner les deux " bonne journée + au revoir " à la fin de dialogue ? Ou ils sont incompatibles ?
Merci, Tatyana

why why why is "Le temps que je fasse mes adieux, j'ai raté mon avion" in the subjunctive? I thought it was only for expressing doubt, or a wish or a hypothetical situation. :(

In English, we say "see you soon" when we know we're going to see each other again shortly (in an hour, at the end of the day) and "see you later" when we're not exactly sure when we're going to see each other again. But in French, I've been told it's the opposite: "à tout à l'heure" means we're going to see each other again the same day and "à bientôt" means we're not sure when. Confusing!

Is « Hé » rude ? I've also seen « Állo » but only on recent social media, not in books.

I would like to say, "Welcome to New York, I am happy to see 'YOU'" (plural). Is it Bienvenue a new york, je suis heureux de vous VOIR or VOYEZ? Is there a better way to say this?

Je ne savais pas qu'il y a plus de manières pour utiliser << bonjour >>. En espagnol on dit, << Hola >>.
