Is it just me or did I learn more from this ten minute video than my current French teacher can teach in 10 weeks

I love the way Alexa teaches. She takes her time to enunciate and speak slowly. Unlike many other videos on here, they're more into showing off than actually teach.

Notes I took during this lesson:

Basic greetings:
Bonjour = Hello/Good Morning
Bienvenue = Welcome
Bonsoir = Good evening
Salut = Hi

Ways to introduce yourself:
Je m'appelle ___ = My name is ___ (Literal translation = I call myself ___)
Je suis ___ = I am ___
Mon nom est ___ = My name is ___
Je parle ___ = I speak ___

Ways to ask "how are you?":
Comment ça va? = How are you?
Comment vas-tu? = How are you? (Literal translation = How are you going?)
Comment allez-vous? = How are you (all)? (Literal translation = How are you (all) going?)

Ways to answer:
Ça va (trés) bien = I'm (very) good
Ça va mal = I'm bad
Ça va pas mal = I'm not bad
Ça va comme ci comme ça = I'm so-so/I'm okay (Literal translation = Like this, like that)
Ça va = I'm okay

Ways to say please/thank you:
S'il te plait = Please (Literal translation = If it pleases you)
S'il vous plait = Please (Literal translation = If it pleases you (all))
Merci (beaucoup) = Thank you (very much/a lot)
De rien = You're welcome (Literal translation = It's nothing)

Other polite phrases:
Excuse-moi = Excuse me
Excusez-moi = Excuse me
Pardonne-moi = Excuse me (Literal translation = Forgive me)
Pardonnez-moi = Excuse me (Literal translation = Forgive me)
Pardon = Sorry/Forgive

Important:
Vous = Formal/Plural
- Use the "vous" form when speaking to someone you don't know or when speaking to more than one person
Tu = Informal/Singular
- Use the "tu" form when speaking to one person you are very familiar with (a parent, friend, teacher, etc.) ---> if you are speaking to more than one person, use the "vous" form (even if you know them very well)

Extras:
français (m.) / française (f.) = French
anglais = English
Oui = Yes
Non = No
À = To
Moi = Me
Jour (m.) / Journée (f.) = Day
Monsieur = Mr
Madame = Mrs
Mademoiselle = Miss

Basic Goodbyes:
Au revoir = Goodbye/See you soon (Literal translation = To see you again)
À bientôt = See you soon
À tout à l'heure = See you later/shortly
Bonne soirée = Have a nice evening
Bonne journée = Have a nice day
Bonsoir = Goodbye

I have been interested in learning French for a couple of years now but have never taken it seriously. My mother tongue is Spanish and I managed to teach myself English using tools on the internet. I am beyond thrilled to have found this channel. I'm super inspired to start learning French now! Thank you, what you do is outstanding!

I think videos with 5 to 10 minutes, in a series, each touching a specific point is the best way to teach language online. Congrats and "obrigado"!

I just found this YouTube. Love it. I studied French in high school and college but have forgotten so much over the last 45 years with no one to practice with. This is an engaging video series and I am hoping to help my grandchildren learn a bit of French. About all I truly remember is how to say the Pledge of Allegiance which we did every day in high school French.

A very good teacher, I have watched and listened to many of these French lessons from other teachers but Alexa really grabs my attention... a nice 'tone' to her voice.
Merci beaucoup, Madame
