Tbh, my first Minecraft experience was way worse, i had a Laptop with a Celeron M540 (1 x 1.84ghz... yes one core)

I can't believe somebody else had the same issue I did. My dad has an old work computer of this exact model. I used to use it to play a bunch of hand me down discs from my grandparents that they has when they got their first PC (After Dark Games, NFS Porsche, etc.). I tried connecting it to the internet once (I don't remember why) but I was so excited when I got it to work. However, as we both discovered, it COMPLETELY resets the wifi. I think this is also the tutorial I used! I haven't connected it since, due to avoiding viruses and such, but still interesting to see that someone went through the same dilemma I did when I was 12.

This comment is being made on a ~9 year old laptop. This is Dell Inspiron 3665 with legacy R4 graphics and A6-9200 processor. Doesn't support Windows 11 but runs Windows 10. I want to keep Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge, Discord and some pre-installed Windows apps. How can I optimise Minecraft Java to 120 fps modded gameplay? It's very tough, but this is a challenge for you ; )
I also have 8GB of RAM and 500 GB of storage.

I restored my 2007 D530 (it came with Vista) last week. Got up to 4gb of RAM and installed Linux on a SSD. For light uni work it is actually amazing because of the 4:3 screen!
