Putin will be 'escalating' Russia's missile strikes on Ukraine to 'make a point'

Ukraine Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko says Russian President Vladimir will be “escalating” his missile strikes on Ukraine to “make a point”.

In the latest attacks against Ukraine, Russia has launched a missile strike on a busy shopping centre in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk, which led to several deaths and multiple people getting injured.

“I am very concerned, and that was a deliberate attack at a civilian site, which is a shopping mall, in the middle of the day,” he told Sky News Australia.

“It’s very hard in Kyiv now.

“This is really appalling, but I think Putin’s making a statement, he’s really sending a signal to the G7 countries.”
