The sweater itself has topdown seamless simultaneous set-in sleeve construction, using the technique first described in Knitting From the Top, by Barbara G. Walker (I am using a modified version of her technique, based on my preferences)

I went to Maryland Sheep and Wool on Saturday with my daughter and it wasn’t very crowded except for maybe the food booths at lunch time, probably the rain kept it from being too busy. It was my first time there and we loved it!

Since it's already been 10 days since you posted, you may have already decided on your button hole band coloring, but I would definitely vote for picking up with the dark color. That would frame the stripes. It seems to me that if you picked up with the gray and did the ribbing without that dark pickup, the stripes would look like they've been left hanging.

Look at you go! Great jammies! They are super cute. Well done. And I love the sweater - it looks fantastic so far. Great colors. Look forward to seeing it completed.

I vote for the double dark stripe effect for both bands on the front.

The ‘pink ladies’ were teenagers! They are all students at Sandy Springs Friends School - their weaving teacher is in my guild! This is their second year competing.

Thanks so much for bringing me (and the rest of your viewers) along on your trip.
Your sweater is GORGEOUS!
Great sewing projects. Pjs are great “get back into it” projects, because they’re not going into public. If the hem isn’t perfect (or sleeves are different from the bottom), no biggie… if it doesn’t bother you. 😉
Once you get a pants pattern that fits, you can learn how to adapt that pattern to different looks, and whip out a pair of pants in a few hours, because you know it all fits, even the hem. 🙂

Your Rhapsody Blouse looks so good on you, it also seems light and comfortable for very warm days. I love all your sewing projects, it is so refreshing, so summer like !!!

This was helpful. My knitting group is thinking about attending next year.

Love the sweater. Why don't you knit the 2 sleeves at the same time to ensure the dyed yarns match until you run out. Then whatever you dye after will also match for the rest of the sleeves.

love the pjs, pretty sure the hems are going to be fine. I use my e spinner when i spin away from home, bought a battery pack . I bought the ashford, like the wood and the size. I use my majacraft rose or the kromski sonata at home...the later is very light and made for travel too.

So proud that my local guild sheep to shawl team won first place this year. It’s a lot of work but so much fun.
