What he didn’t mention was, that it’s not mandatory to pay $3000, that’s only due to the fact that he can. Now for those who doesn’t have $3000 just laying around, Navy Federal offer pledge loan at $250 minimum. And it add more than just 20 points to your credit; $250 got my credit to boost 95 points, and my second loan was $500 which boosted my score up 120 more. The more money doesn’t give you more points but it’s plays a part along with your credit history. But he’s right about everything!! This is the most safest and efficient way to build and boost credit.

This is sound advice! I did this myself and am doing it again right now.

The key is to not pay the entire loan back in full, leave a small balance so as he states it’ll show that your amount owed to the amount you borrowed will be less than 20% which is an instant boost in score. Do this with as much as you possibly can so that your credit will show your ability to pay back larger credit amounts so you can then more easily qualify for higher credit limits later.

i did this back in the 90's when I had no credit. I was on the way to buy $500 in car audio equipment. I stop at a credit union on the way there and opened a savings account. Then I asked for a loan on my new balance. It took about 40 mins and walked out with $500 cash to by my stuff and a loan for $500 that I paid off in six months. Definitely a credit score booster.

Man I am just like you. An entrepreneur who knows how to leverage credit. I sold my house to myself for a dollar. Then I bought visa gift cards on my credit card and used them to pay the credit card bill. Then I used the CashApp money flip and turned $50 into $250 just by calling some old lady and convincing her that her grandson was in jail and needed bail money. Now I'm in the process of getting a loan for a tow truck but instead of putting the cars I tow in a lot and charging a fee for the tow and storage I'm gonna only tow cars from nursing homes and sell them in Botswana. Once they go in the container the cops can't break the seal to search for them.
