this song was in my weekly mix of recommendations on Spotify... and I was like WTF? are they literally singing about Bloodborne in this song? xD
the first time I listened to it (funnily enough while playing something on my Xbox One X) I didn't even give any attention to the lyrics and just saved the song because I liked the melody... then after listening to it again I was like "HOLD ON FOR A Yharnam? Hunters? wtf?"

I had a revelation. I know the song for a long time. I played Bloodborne like a madman, but being non English speaking, I never made the connection between these two until recently. Put the song on after a while in peace and quiet, loud on speakers. And it was more or less like this - ...in the streets of yharnam the hunt has begun... - and my thought "wait, what?! Where's the lyrics for this thing" best surprise in years

This song has a special place in my heart. I remember first listening to it 4 years ago. I was playing Minecraft listening to my discover weekly on spotify when this song popped in.

It was pretty unlike any song I had ever heard at the time. I hadn't even played Bloodborne at the time, but I instantly knew I loved this song, and this song is what started my journey into metal music.
