When Alfred Broome is talking to Daemon in the Godwood, he says, "Did you hear something", with subtitles on, you hear someone whisper "traitor" to him.

What upsets me is that this season only had 8 episodes when season 1 had 10. I feel like this season could've benefitted from a couple more episodes (even just 1) to give us a proper finale instead of making us all wait another 2 years for the payoff...

As far as a season, I feel like I enjoyed it.

But the finale did make this season feel more like filler rather than a complete season. One more episode would've been great to end the season and tease season 3.

What makes me pissed is that last season they said it was a build up season so they could begin the war this season, then this season ends with one battle and they say again that it was a build up season to begin war next season 😐

Good thing daemon didn’t get the full visions of the night king ended by a stark and the final targ exiled beyond the wall 😂
We all know this is pointless as dany doesn’t resurrect the targaryian back to greatness and Jon doesn’t fulfill either his destiny as the one to end the nightlong or end up on the throne

i thought the end where rhaenyra is standing with her back to the history connected with the theme of everything being a story as well because she’s surrounded by histories but she’s also framed in an empty slot where her story would likely one day go

I do agree with you, one thing that must be a family trait with all the Targaryens; which is the sense of entitlement. You could have a drinking game each time Dany said “take what is mine…” a throne she felt entitled to but did nothing to earn besides have 3 dragons

Something I noticed was when Dhamon wakes up, the dripping is gone. There is silence symbolizing he had made peace with his inner turmoil.

I loved the tree, aka the children of the forset whispering traitor, when the Knight came talk to Daemon, and him asking "did you hear that?".

You mentioned the point about Ulf being at the head of the table usually reserved for a matriarch or patriarch but it would actually make sense that he is considering Ulf is technically Rhaenyras half-uncle and Daemons half brother, had he been legitimate, would have been appropriate

No red eye is fine, that birthmark is unmistakable. He looks like he does in the Dunc and Egg books, and comic style pictures, so that was fun to see. I'm happy to see them tying together this story with the Dunc and Egg version of Bloodraven.
