It didn’t actually do that terribly in Japan! They just gave it to America with loose dubbing conditions, and we adapted it

it was extremely popular in japan but when they dubbed it for english it wasnt popular at all so they got to jus do any dub, thats what i think beacause there is no proof that it did bad in japan
