Hey toycat. I've been watching your content since around 2013, when I started uni. I'm a science fiction author and comedy poet by trade, but after taking loads of marketing courses and trying to sell my books, I'm thinking of giving up. I like writing, but I don't like not being able to make rent when a book doesn't sell.

I even became a 'bestselling' author in five categories in 2022 and even that didn't make me enough money to survive off of. But it's not the end, because in the mean time I discovered a love for making talk shows, doing comedy, and playing minecraft on twitch. You inspired that. The laidback nature of your streams and the subtle but dark comedy you managed to sneak into them inspired me to get back into something I hadn't tried in years, making videos.

I'm still an author, but I don't write the kind of stories that 90% of the population like. There are less emotional scenes, and more emphasis on the adventure. Modern audiences seem to want characters who cry every five minutes, but I want 1950s inspired sci-fi where the characters explore space not because of mommy issues, but simply because they want to explore space.

Because space is cool.
You're cool too, and you helped me find another thing I love doing, which is slowly taking over my life. One day I hope to get you on my talk show. I've managed to get in touch with Julian Gough and might have him on one day, which will be incredible!
