Dr. Dale Bredesen believes this is the last generation to fear Alzheimer's and shares how a precision approach to treatment can reverse cognitive decline.
Dr. Dale E. Bredesen received an undergraduate degree from Caltech, medical degree from Duke, and served his residency and chief residency in Neurology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Prior to joining the UCLA faculty and then being recruited by the Burnham Institute to direct the Program on Aging, he earned a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Nobel laureate Professor Stanley Prusiner.

My uncle Dale! He has been working on neurodegenerative diseases since I was a child. I'm almost 40. It's so great to see the results finally starting to come to fruition!

I'm proud of my Uncle! He is an awesome person.

I almost cry with tears watching this presentation. Thank you very much Doctor Bredesen for giving me hope to cure this disease. It's really painful to see mom change so much because of this disease to the point where she becomes so delusional, rude, and hostile to her closed one and caregivers. Feels like her old self is gone and you can't even recognize her anymore.

As a Functional Medicine practitioner using his protocols I can speak to the effectiveness of his approach. I work with a group of about 50 other doctors and collectively we are seeing a success rate of over 90 percent. Success being defined by cognitive decline/dementia/early Alzheimer's patients arresting their decline and regaining cognitive function. These gains are measured objectively as well. To date there are thousands who have been helped by what Dr. Bredesen has discovered.

Wow. Lost my dad in his 70's . Developed his disease at 71. Horrible last few years he had. I absolutely don't want to go through what he went through. Someone needs to throw money at Dr.Brederson.

Thank you for giving me hope! My father has this awful disease, and his grandmother did as well. It truly is a disease that affects the family as a whole. I pray this is widely available soon!

Keith--not at all an "undisclosed protocol"--it is published in open access, freely available, as well as described in a book from Avery/Random House, The End of Alzheimer's.

My father in law has Alzheimer's. I was searching all over the internet in the hope of finding something....when I came across the books of Dr. Dale. I ordered three of his books from Amazon... received two of them currently & currently reading the first one...The end of Alzheimer's...& I came to know about so many things from it & I am filled with hope that maybe there is a chance that my father in law can be saved..

Thank you for this information. I am getting ready to start the RECODE training for Nutrition/Health Coaching.

As someone with both high risk of AD and a background in public health I don't doubt the essential truth of what Bredesen asserts here. However, given the fractured state of the US health system, how many will be able to access the multiple tests and protocols described in this presentation?

Thank you Dr. Bredesen. I am starting on your book tomorrow. I hope it isn't too technical for an old farmer.

The fact that I never heard about this until now and that barely any people know about this makes me very very disappointed.

Great video and presentation. For me as a patient with ME/CFS it's a reminder that what's good for the brain is also good for the body, and vice versa. Way too much money and time is spent in medicine on Allopathic cures. Many of the complex auto immune disorders can be properly addressed within the confines of a medical paradigm similar to this. It's never just "one thing". Unfortunately so many resources are going down the amyloid rabbit hole. Thank you Dr Bredesen for your work and sharing of this information.

Thank You Dr. Bredesen! I keep promoting you! Love the talk! The Master switch APP slide is up on my wall. It helps to have simplicity and slower discussion, especially when talking with others who are very new to all these concepts! I get a little overexcited at all the great things to do and attack! I am 55 and in preventive mode with a double 4 that popped up out of nowhere. (careful what you wish for on your genetic testing!) Gives great hope, focus and plan to drive a daily care plan. Keep up the good fight and educate all your MD peers!! We are kinda in a conservative wasteland up here in the NorthEast!

Is there a database per state indicating where Dr Bresden has trained medical people that follow his protocol?
