The lid on the 80 liter dual Independently divided cooler has loose space as it pops up and down. In order to correct this condition it takes 1/16th inch silicone handlebar tape 7' found on Amazon for hammers. I use this but didn't let the temperature drop which would be a better adhesion for 24 hours, with a few inches loose. What special adhesives are recommended for plastics. Unfortunately the business igloo is not advanced to vacuum refrigeration where it pulls a small vacuum to preserve the food. This should be easily done in a container to save cost. Unfortunately Costco will probably get a few back cuz all they do is load up with ice without this Amazon order for 7 ft 1 ft short of eight which is needed.
Good lockdown for boats needed and weight help seal lid which blocks moisture build up inside, check with light. The wall dividing the two halves has foam which is unnecessary insulation. Rather freeze packs could be slid in between to help maintain the temperature except they expand, making it impossible. But if they had a separate groove to allow a module to slide in that might pass. Then pass through to allow the cool Frozen air with a fan to circulate the air would be better a cooling effect during night.prop 65 is real as wires other heat up, use in day safe ventilation rather than sleep at night discharge from motor. Unfortunately the exact temperature would be more difficult to be maintained. But you have to remember when the temperature gets to 100° outside that period of time it helps to have a reserve Frozen pack.
The rotor molded polyethylene is subject to cracking at freezing temperatures make it unsuitable for a freezer. Unknown what is in this design, high strength ABS. Engineering design that has an internal wall dividing the two units with ventilation fan increase performance.
There may be a way to design a half inch drain from the frost that builds up when
the lid opens in high
humidity.
Last it's really an AC? compressor in there with an inverter similar to the Engle cooler. I've seen Engle and tested.
I noticed the display at Costco has a lid propped up where you can't test the closure and when you get the unit it pops up and down so it does require some weights to hold a lead down and easy to do with a nice heavy coat and it really traps the cold air

What's the difference between the Dometic CFX series and the Igloo ICF series aside from the wifi/bluetooth/app? Is the build quality the same?

It a big difference ! One it is cooler and the other is freezer !
